This office is responsible for recording and microfilming deeds, mortgages, plats, surveys and other property transactions. We also maintain files and film of other legal documents including, but not limited to, birth and death records and military discharges.
Our budgetary and accounting duties include issuing purchase orders, processing warrants, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, assisting with preparation and maintenance of all county budgets, preparing the county budget and financial reports and assisting auditors as needed.
The payroll department is in this office and is responsible for all facets of the county payroll.
Our elections department maintains the county voter registration database and administers all primary and general elections.
The Clerk & Recorder/Election Administrator and the following personnel are located on the second floor of the courthouse.
